Yanpeng Hu and Rui Wang successfully defended their dissertations on the 30th of May, 2021. Yanpeng's work is on optimizing write and read performances of LSM-tree-based key-value stores, such as LevelDB. Rui's is on selectively copying back clean cache lines in an exclusive or non-inclusive cache hierarchy.
Both of them shall receive the Bachelor's degrees in July 2021. Yanpeng is going to be a Master's student with Chundong from September 2021, while Rui would join Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech, 東京工業大学) to start a new endeavor.
